Drawing on qualitative data from a research study conducted with 25 pregnant individuals who have experienced homelessness during the COVID-19 pandemic in Toronto, Canada, this video describes some of the challenges they face including: barriers accessing safe shelter, frequent relocation, violence, surveillance by the welfare system, and dealing with stigma and discrimination.
