Overview:

Wound care at SRCHC is led by our nursing team and supports people living with complex, chronic wounds. These may be caused by injury, surgery, or by long-term pressure on the skin, such as bed sores or pressure ulcers.

We offer assessment, treatment, and ongoing care to support healing, relieve pain, and help prevent complications. Our qualified healthcare professionals work closely with clients and their home care providers to deliver coordinated, evidence-informed wound care using the latest treatment approaches.

Clients benefit from reduced pain, fewer infections, a lower risk of hospitalization or emergency room visits, and a decreased risk of limb loss. Many also experience improved ability to manage daily activities, stronger self-confidence, and a better understanding of their condition.

If you or someone you care about needs wound care support, please call us at 416-461-2493 or email us with your questions. You can book an appointment through your primary care provider or our medical secretary.
