Overview:
Medical services for gender-diverse people include a wide range of supports for those whose gender identity differs from the sex assigned at birth. Care may include hormone therapy, puberty blockers for youth, and referrals for gender-affirming surgeries such as chest or genital reconstruction.
In addition to these services, we offer inclusive primary care, mental health support, and sexual and reproductive health services. Our culturally competent providers create safe, affirming environments where clients feel respected and supported.
Mental health care may address gender dysphoria, anxiety, depression, or trauma related to discrimination. Peer support, counselling, and access to resources are also part of our holistic approach. Reducing barriers such as stigma, limited insurance coverage, or lack of provider knowledge is central to improving access and health outcomes for gender-diverse individuals.
