New to Canada? We can offer you support.

We provide health care, mental health support, access to community programs, and help with basic needs to newcomers. No matter what your immigration status is or how long you’ve been in Canada, we’re here to support you. You don’t need Canadian health coverage to get care, and we do our best to provide service in different languages.

Getting newcomer support at SRCHC

Starting life in a new country isn’t easy, especially when things feel unfamiliar.

Whether you came here as a refugee, a recent immigrant, or a temporary worker, we understand that it can be hard to find support you can trust. We believe everyone should be able to access care regardless of health insurance or immigration status. That’s why we provide safe spaces and programs that are led by staff who understand different cultures and lived experiences – so you can take care of your health without judgment.

We also partner with other local organizations who specialize in newcomer support, so, if we can’t help, we’ll connect you with someone who can.
