Getting substance use care at SRCHC

We understand that life is complicated, and that substance use is, too.

Whether you need support, somewhere to go or someone to turn to, we’re here for you. We offer judgment-free, trauma-informed care and access to a wide range of consumption, overdose prevention, health care and treatment services. We’ll listen and help you understand your options or what you need.

Specific ways we can help you

Sterile supplies

We offer sterile supplies that reduce the risk of contracting a communicable disease such as HIV or Hepatitis C.

Supervised consumption

We offer many services through the Moss Park Consumption and Treatment Service where people can use drugs they have obtained in a controlled environment. These include sterile supplies, overdose response, naloxone training, complex wound and other health care, nutritious snacks and meals, and a place to rest or do activities.

Access to health care

We offer primary care clinics and treat infections, wounds, and other health concerns. We test for and treat sexually transmitted and blood borne infections, provide vaccinations, monitor chronic diseases, help you stay on schedule for medications, and more.

Help making a change

If you want to slow down, quit, or try treatment for substance use, we’re here to help. Our staff will help you understand your options. We offer addiction medicine, day detox, addiction counselling, and more through our HART Hub partnership. We also provide referrals for addiction medicine, detox, and treatment through the Moss Park Consumption and Treatment Service.

Someone to talk to

You can talk to staff if you are experiencing difficulty. We offer mental health support and treatment, crisis intervention, addiction counselling, grief and loss support, and more. We also provide referrals to other counselling and support services.
