Getting perinatal care at SRCHC
Getting care during pregnancy can be challenging, especially if you don’t have a health care provider, access to OHIP, or support.
We understand that every person’s situation is different. Whether you're preparing for birth, exploring options, or recovering from loss, we offer care that’s inclusive, trauma-informed, and respectful of your choices. Specific ways we can help you
Perinatal and postnatal care
We offer support during pregnancy, labour, and after birth. We provide access to care in East Toronto, even if you don’t have access to OHIP.
Abortion care and pregnancy options
We can help you understand your choices, access medication abortion, and find other services if needed.
Support after miscarriage
We provide medical care and counselling for pregnancy loss.
Help with supplies and community resources
We can help you access supplies for your baby and connect you with housing supports and local programs.
Care for all kinds of families
We welcome 2SLGBTQ+ families, and people of all backgrounds.
Support in multiple languages
Let us know what language you feel most comfortable in. We do our best to provide interpretation or translated materials when possible, and we’ll work with you to make sure you feel understood.
