- Do I need to register, or can I just show up?
Some programs allow you to drop in while others require registration in advance. Please check the program description to see if you need to sign up ahead of time. Feel free to reach out to our team and ask us if anything is unclear.
- Is there help for seniors who are new to Canada?
Yes. Some of our seniors’ programs are offered in multiple languages and are designed for people who are new to the country.
- What if I have trouble hearing or seeing?
We try to make our programs as accessible as possible. Let us know how we can accommodate you and we’ll do our best to make sure you are comfortable participating.
- Can someone help me get to the program location?
We provide assisted door-to-door transportation services in the East Toronto area to seniors aged 55+ and adults with disabilities. For more information please call: 416-752-8868.
- Are your programs good for people with memory loss or early dementia?
Some of our programs are calm, structured, and friendly, which can be helpful for people with mild cognitive changes. Feel free to reach out and ask what might work for you or your loved one.
- Is it okay if I don’t know anyone?
Yes. Most people come on their own at first. Our staff and participants are welcoming and friendly, and we’ll help you feel at ease.
- Can I bring someone with me, like a caregiver or friend?
Yes, absolutely. You’re welcome to bring someone along to support you or join in.
- How do I find out when and where programs are happening?
Each program listing on our website includes details about where and when an event or activity takes place. If you’re not sure which one’s right for you, just give us a call. We’re happy to help you figure it out.
- Do you have quiet spaces or smaller groups?
Some of our programs are more relaxed. If you prefer something quieter, just let us know and we’ll help find a good fit.
