Chinese Cancer Support Group
An educational program that offers guidance and mutual support to Chinese cancer patients and their families. The group is led by a Chinese-speaking outreach worker. Health professionals such as doctors, cancer nurses, pharmacists, radiation therapists, dietitians and social workers are invited to make presentations and answer questions.
Participants learn about:
- eating well
- managing pain and nausea
- how to ask for help
- community resources
- treatment and alternatives
- peer support
Program Eligibility:
Chinese-speaking adults with cancer, caregivers and family members.

Mandarin
Cantonese
Program Time and Hours:
Group usually meets on the 2nd Tuesday afternoon of every month.
