Thank you for your interest in helping us to increase local connectivity. We need 1500 phones with plans to homeless and our most vulnerable clients to attend medical appointments; receive COVID test results; access group-based programs and information on available resources; and connect with loved ones. We have partnered with QoC Health who specialize in virtual care solutions. They will be providing technical expertise to us in this donation drive. They have trained staff who will ensure all data is scrubbed and sanitized before the phones and chargers are given to clients.

Type of devices we are not accepting:

Please note we cannot accept:

  • Broken devices (including cracked screens, frayed wires);
  • Devices that are more than 5 years old
  • Devices with poor battery life (such as devices that need to be plugged into power to work)
  • SIM locked devices (ex. phones that cannot factory reset)

Drop Off Phones

Our donation bins are located at 955 Queen St. East (Queen St E & Carlaw) on the East side of the building & 2 Gower St. in East Toronto (off of Dawes Rd.).

Please also consider making a monetary donation to via Canada Helps, which we will use to purchase data and minutes to activate the donated device.

If you are interested in helping to make a difference, please consider making a monetary donation to our “Phone Drive” to activate used phones and purchase short-term phone plans.

We are hoping to give out 1500 phones with plans to homeless and our most vulnerable clients to attend medical appointments; receive COVID test results; access group-based programs and information on available resources; and connect with loved ones. Please drop-off used devices, mobile phones and chargers to one of our locations at 955 Queen St. E and 2 Gower St. If you don’t have a device, but you would like to help connect the phones, please donate.

We have partnered with QoC specialize in virtual care solutions. QoC Health is a mobile technology company that offers healthcare providers and patients adaptable solutions that allow them to stay connected through secure communication, symptom monitoring and educational tools. They will be providing technical expertise to us in this donation drive and we are asking that donated phones be factory reset (instructions here for Andriod and for Apple). We will also ensure the data is scrubbed and devices are sanitized before going out.
