Good Food Box

Order fresh fruits and vegetables at a reasonable cost, and pick them up at the South Riverdale Community Health Centre. Choose from a selection of boxes featuring organic and non-organic produce. Cost varies according to size and contents of box. Pay when ordering, 8 days in advance (cash only). Nutritional tips, information and recipes: free. The Good Food Box program is operated by FoodShare and Ontario Farmers.

Large Food Box - $17

Family-sized selection of affordable fruit and vegetables with mostly seasonal produce. One or two “interesting” or unique items included (usually with recipes).

Small Food Box - $12

Affordable, mostly seasonal fruit and vegetables for singles, seniors and small families (same as above, but smaller).

Large Organic Box - $32

Family-sized box of seasonal, mostly local, certified organic produce.

Small Organic Box - $22

Seasonal, mostly local certified organic produce. Smaller version of family-sized box.

Wellness Box - $12

A week of pre-cut fruits and vegetables for one person. Ideal for seniors, students and people who don’t like to chop!
