Plain Language Group

The Plain Language Group is a group of volunteers who review printed health information (pamphlets, posters, booklets) to make sure it is easy to read and understand. We do three things:

1. We advocate for health literacy in our health centre and our community.

2. We learn about plain language and improve our own skills.

3. We work with people who want to write in plain language.

Many group members live in the community and use the services the Centre provides. We have reviewed materials developed by the Centre, as well as other community groups and agencies.

If you would like to work with us, please fill out this form and drop it off with the front desk receptionist.
