Programs are offered for three age groups:
- Newborn (0) to 12-month-olds;
- 1- to 3-year-olds; and
- 4- to 6-year-olds
Topics may include:
- picky eating
- introducing solid foods
- healthy weight gain
- raising a vegetarian child
- healthy snacks
As well as:
- behaviour
- independence
- tantrums
- sibling rivalry
- child development stages
- Canadian parenting styles
- immunizing your child
- fevers, colds and the flu
- sensitive skin and rashes
- asthma and allergies
- environmental issues
- keeping your child safe
- when to go to the hospital
Eligibility:
Parents, caregivers with children aged newborn to 6 years old.
Must live within service boundaries.

Location:
All groups will be held at the South Riverdale Community Health Centre unless otherwise noted.
Hours:
Each group is offered 3 times a year for 8 weeks.
